Webster Township Board Meeting

February 18, 2025, 7:00 P.M.

The Webster Township Board Meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Supervisor Mike DeAngelo on February 18, 2025, at the Webster Township Hall, 5665 Webster Church Road, Dexter, MI 48130. Members present: Supervisor Mike DeAngelo; Clerk Tonie Brovont; Treasurer John Scharf; Trustees Shelly Vrsek, Brant Savander, Jeff Harms, Dan Munzel; Deputy Supervisor Rick Kleinschmidt; Deputy Clerk Donna Whitney and 9 citizens.

Motion to approve the minutes of the Webster Township Board of Trustees Regular January Meeting, held on February 4, 2025, as amended. Carried.

Motion to approve the agenda as amended, removing Old Business item A, T&M $26,300, and adding in New Business item E, Resolution to amend Zoning Ordinance, Article 13, Section 13.90.O. (7). Carried.

Motion to accept the Treasurer’s report and pay bills as presented, as well as those anticipated bills received before our next meeting scheduled for March 18, 2025. Carried.

Motion to accept and file the Consent Agenda Reports as presented breaking out the Road Committee as a verbal report. Carried.  

Motion to approve Resolution 25-06, Extension of Poverty Exemptions, as presented. Carried.

Motion to support amendments to the 2017 version of the Employee Manual, Wages and Salary Policies, paragraph 4, to have payroll take place once a month instead of twice a month. Carried.  

Discussion on Preliminary Budget.

Discussion on agenda organization.

Postponed amendment to Zoning Ordinance, Article 13, Section 13.90.O. (7) until 3/18/25 meeting. 

Motion to adjourn the meeting at 10:13 p.m. Carried.
