LYNDON TOWNSHIP RESIDENTS
LYNDON TOWNSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION PUBLIC HEARING,
February 27, 2025 AT 7:00 PM
The Lyndon Township Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to consider a Zoning Text Amendment (ZTA 25-001).
The Zoning Text Amendment (ZTA 25-001) if approved would revise the following sections of the zoning code as described:
- Amending the regulations regarding renewable energy systems (Solar, Wind and Energy Storage Systems), this amendment amends the regulations regarding small-scale renewable energy systems, large-scale solar and wind systems and adds regulations for large-scale energy storage systems;
- Amending the fences regulations under section 3.11 FENCES to include walls;
- Adding section 3.40 GRADING that includes regulations regarding grading;
- Revising the regulations regarding State Licensed Residential Facilities, Adult Day-Care Facilities, Adult Foster-Care Facilities, Day-Care Facilities to verify Township regulations comply with all state laws; and
- Removing the Compatibility Determination requirement from section 3.09 REGULATIONS APPLICABLE TO ALL SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLINGS.
