1. Adoption of Resolution #2025-18 Appointing Commissioners to the Michigan Public Power Agency (Operations Manager Stevens)

MOTION Mehuron SECONDED Henson to adopt Resolution #2025-18. All ayes. Motion carried.

• Adoption of Resolution #2025-19 Authorizing Member Authorized Representative (Operations Manager Stevens)

MOTION Henson SECONDED Keaton to adopt Resolution #2025-19. All ayes. Motion carried.

• Approval of Designation of Police Chief Kevin Kazyak as Interim City Manager and Approval of Compensation (Mayor Pacheco)

MOTION Henson SECONDED Keaton to approve the designation of Kevin Kazyak as Interim Acting City Manager and approve a compensation package. All ayes. Motion carried.

• Discussion to Name Transition Team Members (Mayor Pacheco)

MOTION Keaton SECONDED Iannelli to establish the Transition Team and appoint Council Member Kate Henson as Transition Team member lasting until 12 weeks after the hire of the permanent City Manager. All ayes. Motion carried.

• Discussion Regarding Hiring an Interim City Manager (Mayor Pacheco)
• Discussion Regarding Hiring a City Manager (Mayor Pacheco)

MOTION Iannelli SECONDED Merkel to direct staff to draft an RFP for Recruiting Services for the City Manager position. All ayes. Motion carried.

• Approval of Changes to City Council Meeting Schedule (Mayor Pacheco)

MOTION Keaton SECONDED Henson to approve the amended City Council schedule.

      All ayes. Motion carried.
