Carrie Ann Dunlap

Carrie Ann Dunlap, of Chelsea, MI, age 99, passed away on January 19, 2025 in Chelsea, MI.

Carrie was born on December 21, 1925 in Grass Lake Twp, MI, the daughter of Albert and Gladys Mae (Sluyter) Notten.

She had lived in the Chelsea area all of her life. She worked for over 30 years at Chelsea Community Hospital in the food service department,  retiring in 1983. She was a former member of the Rebekah Lodge and the Covenant Church in Chelsea.

Carrie is survived by a sister, Evelyn Presnell, sister-in-law, Delores Notten, many nieces and nephews, and her good friend, Cheryl Holliway. She was preceded in death by a brother, Albert “Jr.” Notten, and two sisters, Marjorie York and Marie Bryant.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Staffan-Mitchell Funeral Home in Chelsea, where the family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. Burial will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery in Sylvan Center.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Covenant Church in Chelsea or the Humane Society of Huron Valley.
