Patricia Towianski

Patricia Towianski, age 83, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2025, in Pinckney, Michigan. Born on March 21, 1942, in Detroit, Michigan, she lived a life marked by warmth, generosity, and deep devotion to her family and community.

Known affectionately as Patty, she was a beloved mother to her three children: Mark Lee, Christopher Lee, and Jessica Rombyer. Her legacy continues through her five cherished grandchildren—Jonathan Rombyer, Ezra Lee, Brandon Rombyer, Carson Rombyer, and Dylan Rombyer—who brought immense joy to her life. Patty also held a special place in the hearts of many nieces and nephews as well as numerous foster children whose lives she touched with her boundless compassion.

Patty was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and Helen (Munia) Towianski; and her siblings Sophie, Wanda, Julian, and Stanley Towianski. Their memories remained close to her heart throughout her life.

A woman of deep faith and community spirit, Patty was an active member of St. Joseph Parish in Dexter for many years. Her voice graced the parish choir for a long time—a reflection of both her love for music and her commitment to service.

Patty found great joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved attending her grandsons’ sporting events and spending quality time with them. Her green thumb kept her garden blooming season after season. She also enjoyed socializing at the Dexter senior center where she played cards with friends. One of her favorite pastimes was gathering at the local McDonald’s to play card games while enjoying an ice cream treat—a tradition that brought laughter and connection into her daily routine.

Those who knew Patty remember her as someone with a huge heart—loving, caring, and always ready to lend a hand or share a smile. Her presence brought comfort and joy to many lives.

She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May her memory bring peace and comfort to those she leaves behind.
