NOTICE OF PUBLICATION BY POSTING

ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE 135,

YORK TOWNSHIP SEWER USE ORDINANCE/YCUA DIVISION

At a Regular Meeting of the York Charter Township Board of Trustees held June 2, 2025, an Ordinance to make second amendment to Ordinance No. 135, the York Charter Township Sewer Use Ordinance/YCUA Division, was approved for 2^nd reading and adopted by the Township Board after first being introduced and approved for 1^st reading at a meeting on May 13, 2025.   

The purpose of the proposed ordinance is to make a second amendment to the Township Sewer Use Ordinance, YCUA Division, to approve edits and suggested revisions as provided by the Ypsilanti Community Utilities Authority (YCUA) related to YCUA’s acceptance and processing of sewage waste from the Township’s sewer system.

Publication of the approved and adopted 2^nd Amendment to the Sewer Use Ordinance/YCUA Division was made by posting.  A copy of the Ordinance may be reviewed and inspected at the York Township Clerk’s Office, 11560 Stony Creek Road, Milan, MI 48160, and on the Township’s website, www.twp-york.org as provided for under Section 8(3)(b) of the Charter Township Act, being MCL 42.8(3)(b).
